Rokusek vs Security Title

The firm filed class actions against a dozen title companies for charging notary fees in excess of the amounts permitted by statute. The trial court entered summary judgment in favor of the title companies and the Missouri Court of Appeals affirmed. The Missouri Supreme Court granted transfer and unanimously reversed the judgments below based on the arguments in our briefs.
