Timothy J. Lemen
Tim joined Green Jacobson in 2005 after several years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for St. Louis County. Although he had little civil litigation experience when he arrived, he had a great deal of experience trying bench and jury cases and his intelligence and work ethic quickly closed the gap.
Since joining Green Jacobson, Tim has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of cases, including both contract disputes and torts. Tim has tried cases for our clients both on his own and as part of a team with one or more partners. In either capacity, Tim is diligent and thorough. Tim has briefed and argued appeals before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, and is looking forward to his first argument in the U.S. Court of Appeals.
In addition to his trial work, Tim advises, negotiates, and prepares transactional documents for both businesses and individual clients.
Tim is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois.
Tim graduated from Truman State University with a B.S. in Psychology and in Justice Systems in 1998, and earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2001.
