Nathan E. Ross
Nate Ross represents all types of clients with their legal disputes, including contractors, homeowners, business owners, injured individuals, product manufacturers, landlords, and tenants. He focuses on the use of the legal process to assist clients with their disputes no matter what type of dispute. Nate represents both plaintiffs and defendants.
Nate has successfully litigated cases in both state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois. Recently, Nate represented an employer seeking to enforce the terms of a non-compete and a non-solicitation provision contained in an employment agreement and successfully defended a homeowner’s right to use an outdoor wood-burning furnace to heat his home in Clinton County, Illinois.
Nate takes a practical approach to analyzing cases and attempts to shift his clients’ focus from the emotion of the process to a cost/benefit approach. He encourages clients to take advantage of alternative dispute resolution techniques, including mediation and arbitration, to resolve their disputes. Nate prides himself on giving clients personalized attention and straight-forward legal advice.
Nate is a St. Louis native. He graduated magna cum laude from Westminster College where he received a bachelor of arts degree. Nate received his juris doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia where he finished in the top ten percent of his class. Nate is a member of the Order of the Coif, the Order of the Barristers, Alpha Chi, and the Kappa Alpha Order. Nate became a partner in the firm in 2011.
Nate lives in St. Louis with his wife, Trish, and their sons, Carson and Brady. He enjoys playing basketball, golf, softball, and bowling.
