Green Jacobson P.C. is a boutique law firm, focused primarily on representing individuals and businesses in complex business litigation and in prosecuting and defending consumer class actions. We are frequently counsel for a party in the most significant cases tried in St. Louis City and St. Louis County, as well as in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. But we do not hesitate to take on smaller cases when our clients’ interests or the cause of justice so requires.
While our lawyers are experienced in many substantive areas of law, including securities, corporate law, business torts, construction, condemnation, real estate, housing, consumer law, personal injury, and class actions, our true strength lies in our mastery of trial practice regardless of the subject matter of a dispute.
Our lawyers also have extensive experience in representing businesses in transactions of many types. We strive to provide current and detailed corporate legal advice in a timely and efficient manner. We believe our litigation experience benefits our transactional clients by providing insights into the implications and possible consequences of a contract or transaction that may not be as available to lawyers who engage only in transactional work.
Formed in 1995, Green Jacobson is the successor to a law firm originally founded in 1958 as Green & Lander. The Firm has six partners: Martin M. Green, Joe D. Jacobson, Jonathan F. Andres, Allen P. Press, Fernando Bermudez, and Gregory J. Christoffel. George E. Schaaf, a former partner, died in 1995. Seven other attorneys are either associated with or of counsel to the Firm.
All of the lawyers who are partners in the Firm have tried cases throughout the State of Missouri. Green Jacobson represents, or has recently represented, clients in courts from New Jersey to Minnesota to Arkansas and Florida, and in specialized courts, such the United States Court of Federal Claims.
