Missouri Supreme Court accepts transfer

The Missouri Supreme Court today accepted our application to transfer our client’s appeal from the Missouri Court of Appeals. In this case, the Circuit Court for the City of St. Louis refused to enforce a class action waiver provision contained in a consumer arbitration agreement. Oral arguments before the court on this controversial legal issue are set for May 19, 2010. Jonathan Andres prepared the application for transfer. The case is Brewer vs. Missouri Title Loans, Inc., Appeal No. SC90647.
