Getting his piece of the Pi
Green Jacobson filed a lawsuit against the entity doing business as the now-famous pizza restaurant “Pi” and two of its members on behalf of a third member, who was removed from the company without compensation. In exchange for contributing his essential skills and ideas used to establish the restaurant, our client alleges he was promised a small ownership interest in the company. After starting up the Delmar location, making an historic trip to the White House to bake pizza for President Obama, and preparing to open a second Pi location in Kirkwood, our client was fired and the other members of Pi now deny his ownership interest. A lawsuit is now pending to force the defendants to honor their commitment to our client to convey an ownership interest in Pi and to obtain for him his rightful share of its profit distributions. Tim Lemen and Allen Press are the lawyers primarily handling the case for the firm.
