Jury verdict for property owner against escrow company
Allen Press obtained a jury verdict in St. Louis County on behalf of a property owner against a construction escrow disbursing company. The disbursing company had paid $180,000 to a general contractor for work that the contractor had not performed. After a four day trial, the jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of our client for the full $180,000. The defendant’s post-trial motions were denied.
